It is the dried bark and deprived of most of its epidermal layer from Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Breyne; Cinnamomum cassia, Blume, and other related species. A genus with a wide distribution along the coasts of Asia and islands in the Indian Ocean. The main exporting countries of the variety “zeylanicum” are Sri Lanka and Madagascar. As for the “cassia” variety, we have the one from Vietnam.
