Embossing of leatherIt is an art practiced in Muslim Spain.
This embossing is done by hand. The leather must be worked on both sides. One of them is drawn, and then embossed on the other, on the reverse. Embossing in leather is used for covers of luxury bindings, portfolios, picture frames, seats and backs of chairs, screens, etc., with decorations to suit the artist, already golden, already colorful, pyro-engraved with metal applications and enamels and other combinations.
